版权是资本主义商品经济和现代​​文化与科学技术发展的产物。历史不是很长。当版权受到法律保护为民权时，版权继承在各国法律中逐渐确立，中国也不例外。由于法律具有许多保护版权的特殊功能，因此讨论版权继承问题非常有意义。本文试图就版权继承实践的理论基础，特殊性，法律适用性和具体操作进行初步探讨。

I.版权继承的理论基础
